Managing Director of Asanko Gold Mines, Dr. Charles Amoah’s Concerns

Asanko Gold Mine is a multi-deposit complex, with four main open-pit mining areas: Abore, Miradani North, Nkran and Esaase. Dr. Charles Amoah expressed concern about the effect of small-scale miners (Galamsay) in their area of operation but is optimistic that things will get better. Dr. Amoah highlighted some of the CSR project that they have initiated in the region and expressed interest in collaborating with the Chamber to do more.
