In-house Presentation (May Edition)

The second edition of the Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) In-house presentation event featured Infinity Technologies and an ESG presentation by Sam Okudzeto & Associate. Mrs. Linda K. Vasnani, President of the Chamber opened the session by encouraging members to engage actively, network, and explore business opportunities. Infinity Technologies showcased their innovative DCard, a dynamic QR code system functioning as an Identity Card, Business Card, and Access Control Card among others. CEO & Founder Mr. George Lamptey highlighted the customization features of DCard and shared plans to expand its application to sectors such as Education, Health, and Transport, enhancing accessibility and convenience.

As part of the Chamber’s initiative on capacity building for its members, there was a talk on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) .Ms. Offeibea Asante, an Associate at Sam Okudzeto & Associate gave a presentation on that. She emphasized the importance of ESG for business growth, highlighting benefits such as attracting investors, enhancing management efficiency, improving regulatory relationships, and strengthening corporate culture and reputation. As usual, CANCHAM provided an opportunity for the Community Education and Development Initiative (CEDI) Ghana to introduce its EJOBS4ALL entrepreneurial training program to members. Mr. Kingsley Kweku Pinkrah, Chief of Party and Founder of CEDI Ghana, gave a brief presentation on their entrepreneurial training program in partnership with Queen’s University, Canada. He highlighted that EJOBS4ALL also collaborates with Ledogo, PWC, and other renowned business leaders across Ghana to mentor young entrepreneurs, with the goal of advancing job creation for young people in Ghana. Mr. Pinkrah also sought support for their upcoming international conference and the graduation ceremony for these young entrepreneurs.
