The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) and the America Chamber of Commerce Ghana (AMCHAM) collaborated for a cocktail and networking event on April 20th at the forecourt of the AMCHAM office.
The Membership and External Relations Manager of AMCHAM Ms. Jane Okyere Aduachie opening the event welcomed members and mentioned that the purpose was for members of both Chambers to interact, establish connections and possible business partnerships.
The Executive Secretary of the CANCHAM, Mrs. Edwina Atta-Sonno stressed the need for members to network reiterating that both Chambers are “siblings” since its “only water” that separate them.
Mr. Alexander Nortey, President of CANCHAM in his opening address encouraged members of both Chambers to open up and share ideas, learn from each other and use the opportunity to build meaningful and healthy relationships. He expressed his passion for raising capital to support SMEs and invited members of AMCHAM to CANCHAM’s annual flagship event dubbed “CEOs Connect”
Mr. Bethel Yeboah, a board member of AMCHAM, in his brief speech emphasized the need to share ideas through networking in a relaxed atmosphere and encouraged members of both Chambers to collaborate for more of such events.
