The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce is pleased to partner Propak for their maiden Exhibition in Ghana. Propak Ghana is organized by Afrocet Montgomery, a branch of the Montgomery Group, which is one of the UK’s oldest established exhibitions and events companies, originally founded in 1895. As a new edition to the Propak brand, Propak Ghana is part of an elite global group of exhibitions that bring together professionals from across the entire packaging supply chain. On Wednesday 17th May, the organizers of Propak officially launched Propak Ghana at the Lancaster Hotel, Accra. The West Africa Regional Director of Afrocet Montgomery, George Pearson, speaking at the launch mentioned that Ghana is currently exporting a higher percentage of its naturally produced products in their raw state, and there is no doubt that value addition can help the country to maximize revenue from its exports.
The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) who is a supporting partner for Propak Ghana was represented by the Deputy CEO, Mr. Albert Kassim Diwura. Speaking to the press, Mr. Kassim Diwura drew the attention of Ghanaian companies looking for creative packaging ideas to boost their competitiveness on the African market. He also encouraged them to take advantage of the expertise and technology of the Propak Ghana exhibition to acquire more knowledge to improve their brands.
