MEMBER VISITATIONS

The Secretariat of Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM), led by the Executive Secretary Mrs. Edwina Atta-Sonno, paid a working visit to EDM Mining & Resources Africa and Canary Contract Works Limited, both new members of the Chamber. Mr. Ernest Osei Nsiah, Managing Director of EDM addressing the team, mentioned that EDM Mining Resources Africa is into exploration, drilling and mining of ore. They also provide mining support services to some mining companies in Ghana and parts of Africa. The CEO of Canary Contract Work Limited, Mr. Patrick Masope-Crabbe and his team briefed the secretariat on their exportation of commodities such as loose and packaged tea from Kenya to the UAE and some locally produced foods from Ghana such as canned shito, and palm oil to Indian and Dubai. They are also into road and building construction. Both companies shared their desire for Canadian investments, partnerships, and collaborations. The secretariat also paid a courtesy call to KKGO Consulting Limited and Sewia Mining Company. KKGO is an accounting firm and they provide audit and tax services for both mining and Oil & Gas companies. Mr. Frank Kessie-Annor is a Co- Founder of the firm. Sewia Mining Company on the other hand is into mining and exportation of gold and diamond. The CEO, Mr. Gideon Olatunde Igbasaw also mentioned that they are into building and construction. The Executive Secretary urged them to participate in Chamber events to build solid network. She also used the opportunity to invite them to the Chamber’s Flagship event dubbed the “CEO’s Connect” which is scheduled to take place in August.
