End of Year Dinner and Awards: Celebrating Excellence and Collaboration

The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) On Friday, November 22nd, hosted its annual End of Year Dinner and Awards at the Christ the King Parish Hall in Accra. The event brought together 75 attendees from diverse sectors. Mrs. Linda K. Vasnani, President of CANCHAM, in her End of Year message recording, reflected on the Chamber’s achievements in 2024 and their aspirations for the future. In his opening remarks, Mr. Edward William Wiafe, Vice President of the Chamber, urged members to stay safe during the upcoming elections. He also encouraged those in the Construction and Real Estate sectors to attend the upcoming Construct Canada event in Toronto to explore new technologies and grow their businesses. Her Excellency Myriam Montrat, the newly appointed Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana, was warmly introduced to the Associate members during the event. She was accompanied by the Senior Trade Commissioner, Mr. Andrew Maharaj. In her remarks after the short ceremony to welcome her to Ghana, Her Excellency expressed her commitment to deepening Canada-Ghana relations. The highlight of the evening was the Awards Presentation, which recognized individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to the Chamber in the year 2024. The End of Year awards celebrates dedication, commitment, leadership, and the spirit of collaboration. Members had a memorable evening, wining, dining, dancing and networking.
