CANCHAM Trade Mission

Trade Missions is one of the benefits of being a member of the Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce. On the 5th of June, the Executive Secretary of the Chamber, Madam Edwina Atta-Sonno, led a delegation to Canada to participate in the Global Energy Show from the 7th to 9th June at Calgary and the Prospectors Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) from the 13th – 15th June at Toronto. Global Energy Show (GES) is North American leading Energy event and the Largest Business to Business exhibition and conference. Prospectors Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) on the other is the world premier mineral exploration and Mining Convention. Six (6) companies in the Chamber participated in both events and also had the opportunity of meeting with members in the Ghanaian Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the High Commissioner of Ghana to Canada His Excellency Anselm Ransford Sowah to discuss other business opportunities. This gave members present the opportunity to meet with their international counterpart to explore business opportunities.
